Before we get started, just let me say YES...I
have heard the joke: Question: How
many Chiropractors does it take to change a light bulb? Answer: Only
one, but it takes about twenty visits!
I am here to dispel that whole "they just keep you coming back" thought
process, because a true professional will not do that! There are extreme cases where many visits
(as many as thirty or more) are needed over a period of time. For the most part, the doctor will know and you
too will know after just a few visits if your situation requires attention that a chiropractor cannot
give you. A professional will tell you.
The perception of some is that Chiropractic Care is life long and not
necessary. The truth is that good health, as a life long goal, will include Chiropractic
Adjustments. In my opinion there's just no two ways about it. Chiropractic Adjustments can
help maintain a healthy nervous system and a healthy lifestyle. Good Health means different things to all of us. Maybe it's just the ability to lift your grandkids,
or your toddler without pain in your lower back. Sadly enough, many people wait until they have severe back or neck pain
before they show up for care. It's called "Symptom Management". Not only is it not the best method of health
care, it is the most difficult to treat. The reason it's so difficult to treat is once the pain is gone the patient
discontinues care while leaving the inderlying cause unresolved to do it's damage in the comming weeks, months or years.
What you don't know can hurt you.

You do not
need a "bad back" to experience the benefits of Chiropractic Care do you?
Of course not! Chiropractic Care has helped patients with ailments such as:
Reducing headaches
Helping you get a good nights sleep
Digestive problems
Childhood bedwetting and ear infections:
and many other ailments you may not have
associated with Chiropractic care in the past.
Though we get many referrals from other health care practitioners
only by performing an examination can Chiropractors determine if you are a candidate for Chiropractic care. How you respond
to treatment and the things you do outside the office will determine how often you will visit the Chiropractor, or any other
doctor.
In severe injury cases, such as motor vehicle accidents, job related injuries etc. patients
may require more attention at first. Working together with patients who desire to regain full function, the number of visits
for acute care can be cut way down once function returns.
After that, you and the Chiropractor
can decide, how often you want to come in for a wellness treatment. I see patients at various intervals
including monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly and some only once per year. My longest treating and healthiest patients come
in at every change of the season that's four times per year. They receive a physical, neuro exam, bilateral computer muscle
evaluation and a nutritional evalutation that is based on an extensive questionaire. If it is determined they need an "in-between blood"
evaluation (once per year regardless of need is a requirement for my patients) I can order one at my cost. Or I can show
you how to order your own blood evaluation online for even less and have the same local lab I use do the
test.

***What Are Your Choices?***
As with anything new, you may have questions about Chiropractic office visits and
Chiropractors.
A new patient felt the need to point out thier experience at my office versus what they experienced
at another health care office. I won't divulge the type of practicioner they visited but it was pointed out that it was
the typical treatment they received over a period of years using this type of health care delivery system.
Visit
went like this:
1. Wait for an appointment; sometimes for hours
2. Put in a waiting room and wait
more
3. Speak to a professional care giver, maybe even a doctor for five (5) minutes
4. Prescription
given to take and more given to counteract side affects. New appt given
5. New appointment (30-60 days) to monitor
affects or side affects of previous prescription
6. New prescriptsion given to take (after repeating first five
previous steps)
This particular patient also expressed concern at the cost of thier prescriptions since insurance
won't pay it all. The patient pays for prescription & premiums every month for the rest of thier life.
The lifestyle they envision is not an uplifting one where they see thier best days ahead of them. In fact they've used
the phrase, "it's all downhill from here" when telling me the story. I wonder what that kind of thinking actually
does for thier overal health and how they see themselves in the future.
What if you could
have:
1. A wait no longer than ten minutes after you arrive and finished within a reasonable amount of time. You
determine what is reasonable. Isn't your time important too?
2. The benefit of seeing the
doctor who spends time with you personally listening and discussing your case with you. Aren't you the reason we're
here in the first place?
3. The primary condition of your ailment discovered and dealt with, not just "managed"
for the rest of your life. Ever wonder why they call it "managed care" and not curing care? 4.
A professional evaluation that shows you (in black and white) where you can improve your life and health by actions you
can take everyday. Who wouldn't want to be in charge of thier health?
5. More money in your pocket
because you're not spending every month on prescriptions that regulate each other. Wouldn't you like to get off that
roller coaster once and for all?
Regular visits to the Chiropractor can:
SAVE YOU MONEY
INCREASE YOUR HEALTH AWARENESS (KNOWLEDGE IS POWER)
REDUCE YOUR DEPENDANCY ON FOREIGN SUBSTANCES
IMPROVE YOUR OUTLOOK ON LIFE TREMENDOUSLY
What if you could do all these things just by visiting the Chiropractor.
You've tried everything else so what have you got to lose? I mean besides your ailments!
Call and make an appointment
for a consultation to see if you qualify for help. Remember: You don't need to be in pain to see the Chiropractor! 502-897-3392
